ANSWERS IN WANT

By Roni Bell Sylvester

As of March 17, 2009, the following questions were never answered.
Any of you reading this want to take a shot at an answer?

Some things I must address in today's (2/26/09) Rocky Mountain News.
Salazar's scrapping of oil shale exploration: This is not a solution to staying domestic resource production. It strikes instead as a means to further our vulnerability to foreign (see un-friendly) nations for essential goods. But then - maybe this is the end game for whomever President Obama fronts.
M.E. Sprengelmeyer's article on beetle blight: The genesis of this present situation? The enviromentalists takeover of forest management, which subsequently resulted in forest mis-management.
Berny Morson on wolves: Solution? Those who want wolves should identify themselves, shoulder the fiduciary responsibiltiy of their board and room, then held accountable for the safety of other critters (includes humans).
Elaine Engeler/AP report on Antartic glaciers: Athough I'm not a scientist (or a poser), this humble homemaker has done enough independent objective studies and critical thinking on the whole of global warming/cooling/climate change, to state with confidence, "man does not make climate change."
I'd be delighted to avail Ms. Engeler -the thousands of scientists (and a 13 year old girl) who have back up documents debunking Al Gore's CO2 theory.
Last: Diane DeGette's comment - it's not about being Republican or Democrat, it's "about being Coloradan." Remember. This comes from a person who refuses calls from any person outside the 1st C.D., yet makes policies which impact mostly... those outside the 1st C.D.
