"You've Got To Be Taught To Hate and Fear..."

Yesterday I asked Facebook friends and enemies, “Please...Stop with the hate.”
It was met with refusal. It was met with more hate. And fear. This brought to my mind *"Give Them Hell" Harry!  President Truman said, "America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand."
Witnessing Dr. Ben Carson and Donald Trump bury the hatchet, and rise beyond politics to join us no frills American citizens was a joyful time!
The joy was short lived.
Why?
Though Dr. Carson helped build America with his "courage," some now hate him because he forgave Trump’s earlier comments.
Sure. Trump drew some pretty rough comparatives to Carson’s childhood actions. But I’m an aggressive listener, word discerner and body language facial expression reader. And yes, while there was a “cringe” factor in Trump’s comparatives, he offered a comparative, not an absolute accusation. There is a difference.
Besides, I figure if whatever private conversation Trump and Carson had with one another, it had to contain a heap of forgiveness all around. And that’s good enough for me.
You might be a progressive (or are stupid stubborn) if you lack  incentive to forgive.
Yesterday, I had the honor of hand delivering a statement to a gentleman who will soon celebrate his 90th birthday.
So disturbed over being blatantly misrepresented by politicals,  this gentleman was eager to sign the statement I’d prepared.
Accompanying me on this mission, hubby Chuck witnessed the gentleman damn near tear up when I told him of Carson’s endorsement. That was the first he’d heard.
He just sat there shaking his head, “Oh. This is good. This is so good. So Dr. Carson really endorsed Trump?”
“Yes,” we replied.
“Donald Trump doesn’t have to run for president you know. He’s doing it because he LOVES THIS COUNTRY! He knows the work it takes to run a business. Oh this is so good…Carson endorsed him,” he happily explained then repeated, "he loves America!"
On our way home, Chuck and I discussed, “Sure wish everyone could have witnessed this elderly man's support of Trump.  He’s survived immense injustices, built a solid business, is an amazing spokesperson in behalf of free markets and capitalism and respected nationwide for his tenacity, work ethic, business acumen and wisdom.”
We felt truly honored to have been the first bearers of what was great news to this man who helped build America with his  - "unbeatable determination to do the job at hand."
You could see genuine hope rise in his eyes.
It grieves me to know that there are those who've twisted their praises of Ben Carson, to nose in the air dismissals of him as they do any who even as much as takes a look at Donald Trump; a man who helped build America with his big hair and big "imagination."
Sometimes I think these people jut their noses in the air, to get high sniffing their self righteous intellectualness. When they lower their heads, they’re so disgusted by the sight of the rest of us, they spew out their hatred and stick their noses back up to get high again.
It broke my heart when I saw the young man with a Trump sign say to reporter John Roberts, “I have my ticket…” to the Chicago Trump rally. All he wanted to do was “look at and listen to” Trump. He wanted to make up his own mind. He didn't his mind to be owned.
But the Republicans and Democrats who’ve morphed into a joined force of progressive Saul Alinksy/Bill Ayers/George Soros hate filled ideology, denied him that opportunity.
Progressives heap tons of hate on Donald Trump. This induces fear in Americans, and then WALLA! They dissemble America using "fear."
Using fear and hate, progressives are deconstructing the courage, imagination and unbeatable determination to do any job at hand that built America.
delusional megalomaniac delusional megalomaniac delusionalThough there's so much more I'd love to explain, I'll stop with this gentle suggestion to whomever can’t stop hating: Take a break from hating, and picture sitting across from you any elderly supporter of Trump who’s been through hell, built a business, and is a solid American citizen. Now. Look them straight in their eyes and state, “You’re a delusional stupid maniac who lacks the intelligence to see Trump the way I see him!  You’re a right wing idiot moron because you can’t tell Trump is a blond, vulgar, insulting, petty, narcissistic human being! I hate you! Now! Fear me!"
And to you Senator Ted Cruz, I want you to look this gentleman in the eyes and tell him, “You’re a Trump drugged zombie.”
If you "love this country," stop the hate and please join those, like the elderly gentleman, who have helped build America on courage, on imagination, and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand.
Thank you.

Remember - -
"You've got to be taught
To hate and fear,
You've got to be taught
From year to year,
It's got to be drummed
In your dear little ear
You've got to be carefully taught.

You've got to be taught to be afraid
Of people whose eyes are oddly made,
And people whose skin is a diff'rent shade,
You've got to be carefully taught.

You've got to be taught before it's too late,
Before you are six or seven or eight,
To hate all the people your relatives hate,
You've got to be carefully taught!"
