Americans Never Give Up!

Helping us clean up after we were ravaged by the 2013 flood, Jeff McManus found our U.S. Flag laying muddied and disheveled in an old wheel barrel.
He cried...then salvaged it.
After listening to the young speakers participating in some kind of march yesterday, I confess, "It was as though they found our United States of America muddied and disheveled, then set upon an earnest mission to salvage it."
Their suggestions to salvage our Constitutional Republic began with their excellent voter registration suggestions, which included:
a) The law to vote in any election in the United States of America, should be increased to the age of 21.
b) Upon application to vote, there should be a three-day waiting period, to confirm whether or not the applicant is a U.S. Citizen.
c) If a voter applicant is found to be an illegal immigrant, they will deported back to their country of origin.
d) Criminal background checks should re-instituted for all voters. Any found "convicted of a felony are ineligible to vote while incarcerated, on parole, or on probation. Voting rights are automatically restored two years after the completion of all supervised release (except if convicted of treason). Ex-offenders should re-register to vote."
e) Election judges may have security remove any prospective voter who may have slipped through the process, and is unable to show proof of voter eligibility.
I was particularly proud to hear their claims, "This is not a matter of Republican or Democrat."
Knowing that only those who, as U.S. Citizens, meet the requirements to vote in our elections, insures a future of life for our Republic.
It's heartening to learn of the growing numbers of those who care enough about our Republic, to save it!
Americans never give up!
