Come 40 years ago (1978), my X husband, Gene Hutcheson,  ran for the seat Pat Schroeder held in CO's 1st C.D. 

Not long after his announcement, we were hit with a SEVEN year I.R.S. audit. Yes. That's correct. The 1977 to 1970 audit revealed either we or I.R.S. (don't remember which) owed UNDER $200.00! 

The audit though, served its purpose in time/energy and money we had to spend to address. 

Naively thinking elected officials, politics and newspapers were honest, I was shocked over and over and over - each time one of their "new" lies surfaced. 

Just now, Dinesh D'Souza tweeted: "Pelosi promised she wouldn’t leave town until she secured a DACA fix. Yet she’s gone, gone, gone. Lying comes naturally to these people..."

Afterwards, I learned about the Judo Principle (take a charging campaign and turn it into a sprawl with a well timed "planting a seed of doubt - always personal and unprovable) and sudden I.R.S. audits...Both, mostly deployed by Democrats upon determining the Republican candidate posed a real threat to their seat. 

Something I would appreciate each who reads this, is to hold this fact in the fore: Democrats like Pat Schroeder, still use this ploy: Mention of reining in federal to its enumerated defines is ALWAYS met with their snarling, "Oh look. So n' so is trying to take away milk from single mom's." 

Pelosi, Schumer, Waters et al, have though, ramped up their chant with, "Oh look. So n' so is trying to kill you."
